An episode that’s probably my least favorite

is it just me or has Kogoro mellowed out towards Conan a TON in JUST this season? those two have worked fairly well together on several cases without Ran being there to referee. or if they're with Ran, Kogoro doesn't shove Conan at her to 'watch the kid!' or just telling Ran to do it. Kogoro also hasn't... well... he hasn't seriously abused Conan this season either. perhaps there has been just a little bit of grumbling at the kid, or picking Conan up and PLACING him outside the crime scene. instead of THROWING the kid like he's a midget at a bowling with dwarves contest.

maybe Mr. Aoyama and the TMS bosses kept getting MORE complaints about Kogoro being an abusive guardian? it has been 20 years since the first season of Conan... so perhaps the cultural norms of two decades ago in Japan changed?
